Rashieka Sims discovered at an early age that she had a passion for writing and a comedic sense of humor. She initially started her journey as an author by writing poetry but stopped writing when a junior high computer class sparked her interest in computer programming. After graduating from Mississippi State University with a B.B.A in Business Information Systems, she decided to go back to writing and combine her love of writing and her comedic storytelling ability into Things We Did for Love.

The short stories in this book are relatable and cute. While not everyone has gone to the extremes found here, everyone who has been in the "kiddie stages" of love have been through the emotional roller coasters that lead to those actions. I enjoyed reading this as it took me back to those crazy days.The "advice" offered here is, IMO, not the best. Some of the tidbits were as immature as the preceding story...not good. I'm hoping the list at the end was a joke. I'll just leave it at that.
Overall, this is a good read. It's not great, but it is entertaining.

This book talks about things in real life which I love. I love books that I can relate to. I highly recommend!
Entertaining read about love. It was a quick read all with different quirks of relationships. It was not just for one age group, it spanned different generations with laugh out loud scenes.
I typically read all books to the end but this one just didn't work for me. It wasn't written as a story, more individual stories about woman who were hurt by men and then got back with them again. It just rang of total bitterness during the 52% of the doc I got through and couldn't imagine it getting any better.
This book was unexpectedly refreshing funny sad and just plain entertaining. I read it in less than a day lol
The book is a group of stories that tell real life stories of young love. I enjoyed reading real life stories. Nothing about this book is watered down. Its funny but so true. Thats what I loved about. The author kept my attention with down to earth reality. Loved it all and even though I'm a guy, I enjoyed reading stories from a woman's perspective. Great job on this book. Please continue to be true and direct. Great book.
I enjoyed all of the book. The "Relationship Advice" areas made good bridges from one episode to the next. I would recommend it to men as well as women.
All I am going to say, despite some of the craziness such as checking cell phone which I dnt do but if he wanted to chk mine he can but best to pass his own for me to chk same time 50/50 that what a relationship should be. But the last chapter bout if five or more those things denote you in love, all but two apply. I dnt try to hack no social page passwords bcuz u suppose to trust each other n if u cannot there is no relationship without trust and I wouldn't try to kill no one. But everything else on the list to tell if in love apply. Too bad I think I lost him though............ (
